Katy Pet Wellness Solutions is proud to introduce our very own Vaccine Clinic. Vaccine clinics will occur during select scheduled Saturdays during our normal Saturday operating hours. Here are the details:
- Walk-in only, no appointment necessary
- Walk-in hours are from 8 am - 11:30 am on select Saturdays
- No exam fees
- Discounted vaccine packages
What services will be provided to vaccine clinic patients?
- Vaccinations as needed
- Heartworm tests
- Fecal tests
- Dispensing heartworm prevention, flea/tick control, dewormers as needed or requested
Who is eligible?
- Healthy adult pets
- Patients needing preventative care
Who is NOT eligible?
- Aggressive pets (or those that are extremely anxious/fearful at the vet)
- Pets requiring pre-visit anxiety medication
- Pets that are not able to be around other animals or those that may be anxious in crowds
- Pets with a history of vaccine reactions
- Pets that are showing signs of illness
- Pets that have vomited or had loose/soft stools (diarrhea) in the past 24 hours
- Pets that are coughing, sneezing, or have nose or eye discharge
- Pregnant pets
- Pets with a bite history within the past 10 days
Additional information:
- If you have a concern you want to discuss with the veterinarian, you will need a scheduled appointment
- If your pet needs refills of medication (other than heartworm or flea prevention), you will need a scheduled appointment
- Vaccine clinic visits do not satisfy pre-surgical exam requirements.
- There may be significant wait times. Pets arriving before 11:30 am that meet the pre-requisites will be seen.
- Bring previous records. If no records are available, all vaccines will be entered as initial vaccines. Some initial vaccines will need boosters in 2-4 weeks for full protection.
- Dogs that are overdue for rabies or have no previous records will wear a muzzle during their visit.

- If you would like us to run a fecal test, please bring a fresh sample from that morning.
- All dogs need to be on a leash (small dogs may be in a carrier), all cats need to be in a carrier.

*All services requiring the use of a needle assess a medical waste fee of $5 per patient (not per service). Medical waste fees are not discounted when included in packages.
†All heartworm tests will be entered as 6 month tests unless we have complete veterinary records of consistent heartworm prevention. Heartworm prevention will be dispensed in a maximum of 6 mo supplies for all 6 mo heartworm tests.
